McCall Family Dentistry will once again be promoting a sugar-free smile this Halloween with their eighth annual Candy Buy Back program supporting Operation Gratitude and the Lake County Honor Flight. Children can bring their excess unopened candy and will receive $1 per pound donated, up to five (5) pounds. The first 75 children to donate will also receive a coupon for a free meal courtesy of Chick-fil-A! Due to social distancing guidelines, masks MUST be worn and only one family will be allowed to enter the office at a time. Participants are encouraged to bring in letters and coloring pages for the troops, as they will be unable to create them in the office this year. For the fourth year in a row, they will also be supporting the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. Participants who bring in nonperishable food items to support the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry this holiday season will earn extra raffle tickets. Last year, the practice collected and donated over 500 pounds of candy for Operation Gratitude and other military organizations in Kane County.
